    used to remove an abuser from the family home and not come within 
    a certain distance. 

    An Occupation order can also allow the applicant to return to the family 
    home - for example, if you have been thrown out of the
    family home. 

    It can also determine who must pay the morgage and bills on 
    the family home.

    You can only apply for an occupation order if you are a victim of domestic 
    abuse and meet the requirements. The courts will then decide who can live 
    in the family home and enter the surrounding area.

3. You will need to write a witness statement telling the court what has 
happened and asking for the order.

 
   It is important that at the end of the witness statement you must use the 
following sentence: "I believe that the facts stated in this witness statement 
are true". You need to then sign and date the statement.
